Itch's New Laws

With itch's new laws they have on nsfw games, we're not entirely sure if we fall under the prohibited themes. Which will effect us using this site as another changelog for people to keep updated with.

If you haven't, please be sure to follow us on Twitter  Patreon  Discord

We'll be posting updates on there and will be looking for other places to host our game. We'll be using our storefront to continue to sell, and host the free copies as well. We will not be updating the game here and might have to take all versions down.

More updates will be coming later.

I think you mean new Itch rules.

Itch is in USA and have to respect it laws but they don't have power to create laws.

Anyway I think you all game, story, book, comic, etc developers could unite and just ask Itch to use a different payment system with a company that accept this kind of art.

That I know PayPal don't accept many kinds of adult businesses that a reason I never added a payment method to receive donations in my account from PayPal or Stripe(? not sure it's the right name).

If that the need because I read talking about pressure from payment companies

Do not hurt to try.

=^.~=

The only reason I use Itch is because the adult furry things here after, some people use FA or Inkbunny and others. I do even saw some adult games in Japanese (think) online stores, etc.

Just some thoughts.

P.S.: GOG have a page only for adult games have one or two very adult furry ones there.

Oh yes, I just received email ... advertising the adult games on sale there months ago.

So they may have a different view of all it.

We've made it to where our store has the free version of the game, we're also looking to updating it where we can post blogs and such to keep people updated.

We don't want this happening again to us since the coders and artists do need the income from this to pay bills and such, so we're just covering our grounds to find every way to keep that from happening.

We'll look into GoG, and we'll probably be posting on inkbunny and other sites just to have a footing there just to be more safe for it all.

I found developer that just move his Novel to a adult focused website. His story have a lot of sexual visual content anyway.
